The Committee has, therefore decided to apply the minimum tariff sentence laid down for Category A3 offences relating to the verbal abuse of an umpire; a three-weeks' suspension is therefore imposed, to start immediately and to expire at midnight on Monday 3 August 2009. It will therefore embrace the League programmes on Saturdays 18 and 25 July, and 1 August.
