We thought you would like to know that Mobyscore, a Play-Cricket.com-compatible electronic scoring program for mobile phones and PDAs has been released.

It is available as a try-before-you-buy download with a one month free licence on your Java-enabled phone or Windows Mobile PDA - please take the time to have a look and try it out. Mobyscore is and will continue to be FREE on your phone/PDA - you only pay for features accessed via the Mobyscore website (* below).

Features include:

- full scoring of matches ball-by-ball and entry of scorecard summaries
- setup and maintenance of squads on the phone
- upload of match scorecards to Mobyscore.com (*) for processing into JPEGs to be forwarded via timestamped email to person(s) of your choice for inclusion in other media (for example, posting on website or printing out at matches for signature) or for league verification purposes
- full support for 2000 code and pairs cricket

In addition to this, we are pleased to announce the following in conjunction with the ECB's Play-Cricket.com:

- download of fixtures and squads (*)
- scoring of matches, editing of results and scores during and after the event and much more besides
- upload of the latest match result back to Play-Cricket.com at any time (*)

Forthcoming planned features include creation of ECB Play-Cricket fixtures on your phone or PDA and perhaps other enhancements (match reports and perhaps photographs and videos), but if you've any ideas or special requests then please feel free to ask and we can look at including them in our development schedule.
